A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS’…. AND NOTHING SPEAKS BETTER THAN A WELL CAPTURED IMAGE….this is what I believe, photography is all about.

I’ve always been very receptive to visuals, be it in the form of paintings, sculptures or movies. There is something about art… an indescribable allure that never fails to escape my eyes. I guess my drawings and paintings were a natural transgression of the same fascination. But very soon the canvas was well replaced by the camera.  I quit my job in an MNC and my Chartered Accountancy to take up photography more seriously as a profession. Photography which began as a hobby now turned into a profession.

A professional course in fashion photography from Girish Mistry's Shari Academy, and then assisting an ace fashion photographer in Mumbai helped me to understand the nuances of photography. The whole concept of light and shadow seem to fascinate me. Photography changed my insight of the world and made me realize how beautiful the world around us is, and the more we explore, the more and more beautiful it gets. I believe it is photographer’s eye that is more important than the equipment. Now I feel blessed to be one of those few people in this world who get paid for their hobbies. This profession offers me all the freedom and the best part is that no two days are the same.

I enjoy expressing my thoughts not only through photographs, but also through cartoons which appear in BUSINESS LINE, a national newspaper.

My desire to be a part of people and my huge friends circle, has given me the title of being a very approachable and friendly person. Being a multi linguist gives me advantage to communicate with my clients on a personal level and this makes them more comfortable in front of my camera. As a person, I am ready to experiment and learn new things. Your view on my work is always welcomed and appreciated because that helps me grow as a person and also understand your perspective.
